I'm a Certified Scrum Master and PMP-certified Project Manager with over 5 years of experience helping Agile delivery teams run medium-to-complex projects across financial services, software development, and enterprise technology. Outside of project delivery, I write Life in The Abroad to share practical, experience-based guidance for newcomers building a life in Canada.
My Background
My journey into Agile delivery began with a role that turned out to be foundational — keeping a multi-client delivery team running smoothly, then growing into facilitating Scrum ceremonies and coaching teams on Agile adoption. Since then, I've worked as an embedded Scrum Master guiding developers and product owners through day-to-day Agile practice, and most recently as a Scrum Master / Project Manager on a large multi-agency technology program. Along the way, I've leaned on tools like Jira, MS Project and Confluence to keep sprint progress, timelines and documentation transparent for every stakeholder involved.
Where I've Worked
Scrum Master / Project Manager
Supported the PRESTO One-Fare integration program — a multi-agency initiative spanning four transit agencies. Fully accountable for facilitating Scrum ceremonies, managing external dependencies, removing impediments, and keeping sprint transparency high across every stakeholder group.
Embedded Scrum Master
Worked side-by-side with developers and the Product Owner, coaching each through Agile principles so the framework was genuinely embraced, not just followed on paper. Facilitated every ceremony — sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, demos and retrospectives — while removing blockers and building a self-organizing team culture.
Project Delivery & Scrum Foundations
Served as the organizational backbone of a multi-client delivery team — supporting senior leaders, maintaining project documentation, and keeping communication flowing between developers, stakeholders and product owners. This is where Agile facilitation and coaching first became part of the job.
